My son is will be 3 for the next hockey season, would he be able to play with the 4-6 year olds?
No, he will have to wait one more year.
Don't you offer team photos on your website like every other mha?
All of the coaches definitely have the ability to put their teams photo up. If there is a specific team that you are looking for, contact their coach and ask him if he is planning to put it up on his teams micro site in the album that is available.
Are you running a spring league, we would be interested in putting a 6 year old team together.
The Prince George Minor Hockey Association does not have a spring league our season ends March 28, 2010. BC Hockey does not endorse spring hockey.
My son has not really done much skating, he is 7 and wants to play hockey in the fall. Does this matter?
PGMHA groups children based on their skill ability. If you have any further questions or concerns, please feel free to contact the office.
When will the rep tryouts for the 2010/2011 season be held?
The schedule for the 2010/2011 rep tryouts has not yet been finalized. When it is, it will be posted to the web site and in the local paper.
Why does in take so long to post the meeting minutes. Over two months seems out of line.
Normally the minutes are posted as soon as they are approved by the executive and forwarded for posting. However, the office has been closed since the end of May. As in previous years, when it reopens at the end of August the minutes will be forwarded and posted to the website.
What is your maximum age group level and is there a league for older youth, like age 19 and older?
Unfortunately PGMHA does not have a division for youth 19 and older but the City of Prince George does have both a drop in program for ages 16 and over and currently their summer hockey program is winding down. Watch their web site for information about a winter hockey program or you could contact the City at 250-561-7761 for more information.
